Ensuring a successful parcel delivery
Whatever method you choose to send a parcel whether with Senda2b or any other carrier, there are some simple things that you can do in order to ensure the parcel gets delivered on time and in perfect condition.
Choose the right delivery option for the parcel recipient
Make sure someone will be at the delivery address All Senda2b services require a signature to confirm that the parcel has been handed over at the delivery address. If no-one is home then the carrier may try to deliver to a neighbour or will leave a card through the letterbox to re-arrange the delivery.
Choose the collection option that suits you
Make sure that someone will be in for the carrier collection. Carriers require a signature from someone when they collect the parcel.
If you can’t wait in, try sending the parcel at a convenient location. Collect+ service allows you to use the local store to send the parcel, rather than wait in for a carrier.
Note Senda2b services do not have a ‘leave safe’ option for collections.
Use suitable packaging for the items
Using the right materials for the item(s) you are sending and making sure that the box is the right size and sealed properly means that there is less chance of damage or losses occurring during delivery. We have an excellent packaging guide which will help you to pack it securely.
Label the parcel
Affix the Senda2b parcel label securely to your parcel. The carrier uses the information on this label to make the delivery so be sure not to obscure any of the printed text, barcodes or logos on the label in any way.
